Driving the vino
Tariquet vinos are the fruit of a long and delicate alchemy which starts with the secret of the soil of each vineyard.

Each one is analysed geologically, and planted with the most suitable Variedades. As part of this unique expertise, each plant is meticulously tended, and watched. As the grapes ripen, they are carefully harvested and the best technology is used for optimum vinification...

The grapes are destemmed as they are harvested, and immediately placed in airtight tanks. This is where vinification begins, protected against the harmful effects of oxygen.

The tanks are rapidly taken to the cellars and emptied into pneumatic press in which the grapes are macerated with the skins for five to six hours.

Only the free flowing juice extracted at a pressure of less than 600g is kept, and held at a low temperature for two or three days. After this, fermentation starts - a natural process in which sugar is transformed into alcohol by yeasts.

Storage and bottling
POur aim is to retain all aromas and flavours linked to the freshness of our vinos. This is why we store them in tanks at low temperatures, between -2°C and -4°C. To guarantee ideal bottling conditions in a maximum sterile environment, we have opted to mechanize our bottling line with modern and high class material. Your order will initiate a bottling of a minimum of 50 hl. The vinos will progressively regain the ambient temperature before bottling. The bottles are placed on a conveyor belt and are then rinsed under pressurised sterile water. Under white room condition, the bottles are then filled, corked and capsuled. The labelling is automated and the bottles are marked with a lot number on the bottle neck to optimize traceability.

The liquid level, labelling and the correct lot number are checked by means of a luminous screen. During the bottling, samples are regularly taken and systematically analysed following very strict procedures.
These samples undergo 4 days of micro-bacteriological tests. vinos are available only after this period to guarantee that the bottling has taken place under ideal hygienic and safety conditions.
Thanks to this process, we are able to deal with all orders within 12 to 21 days.

Tariquet is committed to protecting the environment throughout every stage of the production process.
To respect our commitments we have adopted the best environmental practices such as organic fertilising.
In order to limit the impact of treatments on the grape juice, we use partially demineralised water with a lowered pH level to dilute active ingredients
The results are enlightening, meaning that treatments have been reduced by 40%.
Our effluent treatment plant ensures our waste water no longer has an environmental impact. Finally, the use of sulphites has been reduced to the strict minimum, as antioxidants such as Vitamin C are the preferred alternative.

Furthermore, our glass bottles, aluminium caps, paper labels and cardboard packaging are all 100% recyclable.
