Dernières Grives

Origin:
Gascony, Bas-Armagnac
Grown, produced and bottled by Domaine du Tariquet.

Varieties:
Petit Manseng and other late-harvest regional grape varieties

Serving suggestion:
Serve well chilled. This sweet wine, packed with fruit, is a delight on its own or as dessert wine.

Tasting notes:
Les dernières grives, one of a kind
An elegant, full-bodied wine. The open bouquet reveals well-balanced acidity, fruit and ripe grape aromas leading to hints of vanilla. Harvested late in the season, once the last thrushes (‘dernières grives’) have left, the mature grapes produce a rich wine, with a fresh, intense flavour. Traces of white truffle on the nose and sweetness on the palate are enhanced by lingering fruit. Great balance and fullness… an exquisitely smooth wine.

Storage:
Should be stored on its side, in a cool dark place. Will keep for a good ten years.
