Dernières Grives

Origin:
Côtes de Gascogne IGP, produced and bottled by Domaine du Tariquet.
.

Varieties:
Petit Manseng and other late-harvest regional grape varieties

Serving suggestion:
Serve well chilled.
On its own pure pleasure, with fresh fruit salad or tarte tatin.

Tasting notes:
A sweet, elegant, fine and round wine striking a perfect balance between sweetness and acidity.
The fruit and varietal aromas lead to pleasant notes of vanilla.
The over-ripe grapes are picked before the thrushes (grives) get to them, giving the wine its rich, powerful yet very fresh qualities.
The bouquet reveals scents of white truffe and the impression on the palate is one of great charm, balance and fullness.
Its spicy character is well to the fore.
Produced in very small quantities.

Storage:
Should be stored on its side, in a cool dark place. Will keep for a good ten years.
